Haiku on Grandson's Owie


This photo of my grandson with a bandaid on his cut head inspired both a painting (which you can see here) and a haiku.




Life’s Hard Lessons

Grandson has cut head
Two-year-old eyes brim, betrayed,
We adults, helpless
